Bayville Emergency Services dutifully oversees a sprawling 43-square-mile response area distinguished by its diverse infrastructure. This includes a vast expanse of the Barnegat Bay, multifarious waterways, estuaries, numerous township parks, four county parks, one state park, the accessibility of a county airport, two sizable excavation pit sites, two multi-level nursing facilities and various strip malls and commercial establishments.

Personnel and Training

At the heart of our operations are skilled NJOEMS Licensed EMTs and First Responders, forming an adept team prepared for a full spectrum of emergency response scenarios. Our personnel uphold their operational proficiency by engaging in ongoing continuing education, ensuring they remain at the pinnacle of emergency medical response efficacy.

Bayville EMS implements a three-tier Quality Assurance (QA) system. This guarantees that all aspects of our service—from patient documentation to the direct care and interactions—are meticulously reviewed, adhering to the highest norms of clinical excellence.

Operational Leadership

The EMS rank structure within Bayville Emergency Services is designed for optimal operational flow. This includes a Chief, a Deputy Chief, Two Captains and a Lieutenant. Each Operational Line Officer oversees individual areas of responsibilities respectively.

Interagency Collaboration

Our EMS regime thrives through a strategic alliance with the Berkeley Twp. Administration, Berkeley Twp. Police Department and synergistic cooperation with Berkeley Township EMS. Supplementary to this are symbiotic relationships with Local Volunteer Organizations, Township Fiire Departments, the Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Team, Public Works Department, and our Mutual Aid Partners. Collectively, this interagency cooperation forms a robust network, contributing to heightened readiness and enhanced community care and safety.
